Natural Health Life Coaching / Nutrition Available in person and by phone Achieving our potential is an endeavor requiring a steady flow of motivation. Natural health life coaching is a comprehensive approach that helps us bring our desires and intentions down into our reality in a well-balanced, supportive and healthy manner. My clients come to me after all the fads, self-help books and sometimes even therapy sessions haven’t worked. Consistent coaching is a proven solution that works. I will customize a program designed to reach your personal goals and tailored to your own particular style and strengths using the following techniques:
Nutritional Counseling: What does eating healthy really mean?
The media could not be more confusing about food. I’ll share with
you what healthy eating is all about and help you find your personal,
ideal diet for the long term. Through this process you will experience
healthy shedding of any excess weight, we will address emotional eating
and you will learn to eat food that gives you optimum energy, while
taking into account any mood swings or digestive issues such as IBS.
If needed, other areas of focus could include nutrition for fertility
and a healthy pregnancy, hormonal disorders such as PCOS or nutritional
support for menopause. Energy Balance: When appropriate I will draw upon my knowledge of herbal medicine, breathwork, meditation, chi gung, EFT, Migun acupressure, kinesiology and other techniques to free emotional blocks and balance the physical body. For more information visit our Healing Modalities page. How it Works: In our initial session we will discuss your unique situation in depth and determine how I can help you reach your personal best. We will map out a plan for you that makes sense. The program happens in 12-session blocks, which gives us enough time to make some meaningful changes in your life and well-being. Sessions are usually an hour but I will tailor that to your needs as some people need more time and some less. Each program is unique to the individual as no two people are alike. For example, some programs focus mostly on the life coaching piece and very little on nutrition and in others the opposite is true. Equally, some programs include many energy balancing techniques and others none at all. It is up to you and what your priorities are. Coaching can happen in person, over the phone or through a combination of the two. For example, depending on the client’s preferences and specific needs, some programs I conduct through in-person sessions most of the time, while other people prefer to be in their home, relaxing in their favorite chair with a cup of tea while our session progresses, preferring to meet in person only occasionally.
